Hello 2019!!!

Hello Loves,

Happy New Year! Welcome back to the blog. I hope you all are well. So we are five days into the new year and literally all I've done is *Rihanna's Voice* Work Work Work Work Work....oh and be full of a horrific cold, hence the lack of blog posts I was meant to upload on New Years Eve...#oops

This year, is the year I sort my blog and social media out. I know, I've been saying I'll sort it out for a while but this year I will definitely do it. The other thing, which might interest you, is that next month, I may be starting up as a Stella and Dot independent Stylist, (not a sponsored post, this is something I've wanted to do for a while). If you haven't heard of Stella and Dot before, they area jewellery and accessories brand who sell amazing products. I'll have my own website where you'll be able to shop the products and I can do style sessions/parties one to one and in groups. I can't wait to get started.

This is also the year that I reach my goal weight, hopefully travel a bit more and read a lot more. I have a goal of reading 55 books this year, so far I have completed one book and I am half way through another.

I apologise that this is only a short post, I'm working on more content to go live over the next few weeks for you all to read. For now though, I'd love to hear your replies to these two questions...

1) Do you have any goals for this year, and if so what are they?
2) What would you like to see on this, fashion, positivity, homeware, travel?

A long overdue post + A trip to Panto Land

Hey Everyone, Welcome back to the blog, and for those of you lovely readers that are new to this blog, My name is Katie *Waves Hello* and this is my blog.

Before we get into the main part of this post, some of you may realise that this particular blog post is the first one I've uploaded in quite a few months, and I apologise for the fact that I am a horrifically shit blogger. The reason for the lack of posts is, that back in August, I started a new job, and it's taken me a few months to get used to the different shifts every week, and if I'm honest, I've been wanting to write a post for a while but again, I lost my blogging mojo. Everytime I wanted to write a post, I couldn't think of anything I wanted to write about, and every time I did write something, it would be really shit, and I didn't want to put something out there that had absolutely no effort put into it, and wouldn't make you guys smile and laugh like I want my content to do.

I am determined as hell, to get back into blogging as I honestly do miss it, and as well as this post, I will have at least one, if not two posts going live before the year is over, that's a promise.

Right, Moving on to the best part of this post, and the main reason I wanted to write a post. Last Saturday, Mum and I took a trip to Panto Land (AKA Northwich Menorial Court) to see Cinderella, starring Northwich's best loved comedy duo Ryan Greaves and Steve MooreWood as Buttons and Dame Hardup, Atomic Kitten's Kerry Katona and Heartbeat's Tricia Penrose as The Wicked Stepsisters, The X Factor's Lloyd Daniels as The Prince, Britain's Got Talent's Georgie Jackson as Cinderella and Kate Salmon as Dotty the Fairy Godmother.
This year's Panto was probably the BEST show we've seen. Everyone was amazing, it was hilarious and the songs were fab, especially Georgie singing This is Me from The Greatest Showman. Lloyd was incredibly entertaining and perfect as The Prince, his vocals were insane, and it took me back to when I saw him perform on The X Factor Tour in Manchester.  Kate's Fairy Godmother was brilliant and bursting with warmth and fun, Kerry and Tricia were the perfect comedy duo as The Wicked Stepsisters. Ryan and Steve were as funny as ever, with their sketches and practical jokes.

My favourite parts had to be the ever chaotic '12 Days of Christmas' which changes its lyrics every year. This year's rendition included Baby Sharks, and water pistols, seeing Ryan, Steve and Georgie running around the theatre with water pistols had everyone in stitches. My other favourite part was the Flying Carriage before the end of act one, as Fairy Godmother helps Cinderella get ready for the ball.

After the show, I was very lucky to meet Ronan Parke, who was in last years production of Aladdin, He was so lovely, and it was amazing to have a few minutes to chat with him. Be sure to give his album 'Found My Way' and his latest single 'Cheers' a listen, they are amazing. I will also leave a link to his youtube channel at the bottom of this post as well for you all to check out as he posts some amazing covers on there.
Me with Ronan Parke

I was also incredibly lucky to meet the cast at the stage door after the show as well. They were all incredibly lovely to meet and chat with. I just want to give a huge shoutout to Anton Benson and his production company for putting on an incredible show. Ryan Greaves, Steve Moorewood, Lloyd Daniels, Georgie Jackson, Kerry Katona, Tricia Penrose, Kate Salmon, all the dancers for being a fantastic cast. Good Luck with the rest of the run! If you haven't bought tickets for the show, and you live in the Northwich or Cheshire area then please go get tickets, it is well worth going to see it, and if you do have tickets, I hope you have the best time watching the show.

Happy National Best Friend Day

 Best Friends

 Happy National Best Friend Day

Hey Loves!

It is officially National Best Friend Day!!!!! If you have a best friend, make sure you celebrate today with them, even if you don't see them, just drop them a text or a call and let them know you appreciate them and that you love them. It doesn't matter how long you've been best friends, what matters is that you show them you care and that you appreciate them.

Today's blog post is dedicated to my best friend Chloe. The two of us have been best friends for almost 18 years. Chloe is literally my rock. She means the world to me and I am the luckiest person in the world because I get to call her my best friend and my twinny. Our Mum's say we're like twins born six months apart, because we are so alike. We love the same music, movies, tv shows, we share an obsession with Disney, and Harry Potter too.

We became friends through our Mum's because they were on our school PTA together. We were always the ones who helped set up at the christmas fair, or putting together the sweet mixes (as well as eating them) for the school discos. We even did line dancing together, in a group called The Dixie Chicks. We had our own friendship groups as we were in different year groups, but we were still best friends. We did lose contact for a while as I left high school and we each did our own thing, but we got back in touch a few years ago, and our friendship is even stronger than it was before.

Chlo is always there for me when I'm feeling down, or need to rant or just when I need a girly chat. We text pretty much from the minute we wake up to the minute we go to bed, there is always something to talk about. We can even have three different conversations on three different social networks at the same time. We always tag each other in things that relate or we like on facebook.

So Chlo, if you do read this, I just want to tell you, that you are my best friend in the entire world, I am beyond lucky to have you in my life. I legit don't know who I would text every day if you weren't my best friend. Who in the hell would I share my love of Disney with if I didn't have you as my best friend? You are my absolute rock, you're my twinny for life. We're gonna have the best time in Manchester and any other trips we go on. Also we are in serious need of a disney or harry potter Marathon and a trip to the pub soon, okay. I love you millions Chlo, I couldn't ask for a better best friend.

Love, Katie xxxxxxxx

My Battle with Anxiety...

Hey Loves!
I've been thinking about writing this post for a while. Considering its Mental Health Awareness week, I thought I would share with you my battle with Anxiety, and how I cope with it.

I was never officially diagnosed with Anxiety, I'd had a lot of symptoms of it in my previous employment. I worked for my previous employer for a year, I'm not going to say the actual time period, or who it was that I worked for, or the people that made me feel the way I felt. I loved the role I was doing, I was happiest when I was interacting with customers, or doing research and learning more to do better in my role. The downside of that role, was the targets. I honestly struggled to hit them in some months.

A few months into my role, I began to get terrified of going into work. I would say to my mum that I wasn't feeling a hundred percent if a particular person was going to be working that day. I'd leave for work, feeling sick, I'd start shaking, have headaches, cry, and sometimes make myself physically sick on the journey to work. I'd come home in tears too, if the pressure of being around that person got too much. There was one day in particular that I was working all day with said person, I was literally running round like a headless chicken all day, helping customers, answering the phones, emails and all that jazz, and this person was literally sat on his arse watching BBC Iplayer and occasionally answering the phone or email. When I asked for help, they'd get annoyed saying 'I should know how to do what I was asking for help with'. I remember going into the back room and rang both my mum and my dad in tears, hyperventilating because I'd been pushed over the edge, I'd been going non stop, whilst this person was pretty much doing jack shit. I said to my parents, I will leave if I have to, one day I'm going to get pushed so far over the edge that I crack and walk'.

I did leave that company. The day I left felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. But there are still days that my anxiety flares up. Days where I'm anxious if I'm put in new situations, where I isolate myself, and some situations where I do feel sick to my stomach. But there are good days too, especially when I'm around my mum, or my best friend Chloe. Both of them are my absolute rocks, who helped me get through working there, and my family too.

I've found ways to cope with Anxiety such as talking to people like my Mum and Dad and Chloe; listening to music, my current favourite artists are Sammy Wilk, Jack and Jack, Against the Current and Ariana Grande, and writing, whether that be for my blog or in a journal.

If you feel that you have anxiety, please talk to someone, or if you want any further information on Anxiety please go to

Where the HELL have I been?

Hello Readers!

Bloody hell...its been a while hasn't it? I guess I should explain where the hell I've been and why I haven't been a very good blogger recently.

First reason..which thank god has now been resolved is that I have had no phone for the last month and a half. Why you lovely readers may ask? I have had no phone because I'm an absolute idiot, and shattered my phone screen a while ago, then threw the TV remote onto the couch and accidentally hitting my phone which cause the screen to go green, then purple then blue and then black with LCD liquid leaking out of the cracks. I're all thinking what an absolute idiot. I rely on my phone for the camera and to post on social media and without one, I have unfortunately not been able to post unless I was using a computer. But..said phone issue has now been resolved...I HAVE A PHONE *cheers dramatically* I'll be able to post more on social media, and take photos for the blog too.

The Second reason is, and I'm going to be completely and truthfully honest with you all...I lost my blogging mojo completely. I just didn't feel motivated to post, I felt like all my content was really shit, I hated the idea of blogging, and I felt like every time I sat down to write something, I either couldn't or I felt that what I wrote wasn't of the quality and standard that I wanted it to be. I felt like I couldn't put my true personality or heart into what I was writing about. Therefore, I turned to the two people that I trust with my life, my Mum and my best friend who said I should take a step back from my blog for a bit, take a break, and re-evaluate it. My mum read a couple of blog posts and pretty much told me I wasn't injecting my personality into it, I was trying to be like other bloggers, and not being myself. I'm so glad that I took a break from it, I feel now that I can create better content that you guys will enjoy.

So, from now on in terms of content, I will be more real with you guys, I'm sarcastic, Sassy, a little bit fiesty, and I do swear a little..oops...I'll tell you my honest opinions, share my passions and my obsession with all things Disney, and Music, my goals and my dream of running my own empire. I also really want to connect with you all more, so please leave a comment below and tell me about yourselves, a goal you're looking to reach this year (Mine is to lose a stone before my birthday in August), and what you'd like to see on this blog. I'd love to hear from you.

To My Best Friend...

Today's blog post is another super special one as today is My Best Friend, Chloe's 22nd Birthday. Chlo is and will always be the true definition of a best friend. We've been friends for 19 years this year which is incredible. She never fails to make me smile, cheer me up, and be there for me through the highs and lows. She is the bestest friend I could ask for, and truthfully, I wouldn't want anyone else as my best friend with..I mean, who else am I going to text about Disney and PLL and how fit I think Thomas Doherty, Sam Thompson, or Dylan O'Brien is. I'm the luckiest person in the world to call her my best friend.

She is probably going to either ring me or text me when she sees this and tell me I'm being a soppy buggar but to be honest, I don't care. Chlo if you are reading this, I told you I would do something special for your birthday.

Thank you for always being there, and for being you. Hope you have an amazing Birthday and I can't wait to see you soon.
Love, you millions,

Katie xx

A very special birthday Dedication!!!

Welcome back to the Blog! I hope you all are well and are having an awesome January so far.

This Blog post is actually a very special one. Today is my Mum's birthday!!! *Cheers* My mum, is one of my biggest supporters of my blog. She reads every post, tells her friends about it, helps with photography and will sometimes take photos for me too.

She's been through a lot in her life, including a Stroke, 17 years ago, but she is hands down, the World's Best Mum! She never fails to make me smile and laugh, She gives the best advice and the best hugs too.

I know she's going to read this and be a little bit embarrassed that I have done this for her, but I wanted to share with the World how special and important she is to me. So, Mum if you are reading this, Happy Birthday, I love you with all my heart, You are my absolute Rock, and I don't know what I would do without you. I dedicate this post to you on your Birthday.

Lots of Love and Hugs,

Katie xx
